About Me

I am a first year Masters student at The University of Texas at Austin majoring in Computer Science. I am working with Dr. Aditya Akella and Dr. Sanjay Shakkotai on solving exciting problems in using learned representations of network state. I work at the intersection of reinforcement learning and networked systems. Prior to this, I was fortunate enough to work at McKinsey & Company where I jetted around the globe with coffee to solve large scale business problems. 

At my core, I am an engineer with panache for research in Reinforcement learning and Natural Language Processing. Before UT Austin, I received my Bachelors from the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, where I worked with Prof. P P Chakrabarti on multi-agent reinforcement learning. I have also worked with Dr. Vikash Kumar on robotic manipulation and representation learning. Over the summers, I had the opportunity to work for Quadeye, an Indian proprietary High-Frequency Trading firm.
